We hold nothing
We never receive your drawings, markups, takeoffs or tool chests. Below is every connection Excalibur View makes and what goes over it.

No usage tracking, analytics or crash reports are sent to us.
Where it's stored
For one person, in that person's own folders. With Office, shared drawings, markups and tool chests live in one folder on your office server. Back up that folder and you've backed up the office.
Getting it out
Markups are written into the PDFs in a standard form other PDF programs can read. Takeoff exports to Excel, CSV, PDF, XML and JSON.
How updates are checked
Every release is signed with a key only we hold. Before an update installs, the app checks the signature, the SHA-256 fingerprint and the file size. If any check fails, the update is refused.
